Patricia’s artistic passion is captured in bold fluid strokes of the palette knife as she moves oil paint across canvas. Her paintings are a reminder of nature, both its power and its tenderness, creating a space of solitude for the viewer to connect inner self with the world.

Residing in Gibsons provides never-ending possibilities for her artistic expression. Here, coastal forest exhibits the full spectrum of green while the coastline itself adds the breadth of blue and grey.  When marine light illuminates this landscape, cycling through days and years, it presents limitless sources for her palette.

Today Patricia is further abstracting her subject with the introduction of cold wax.  The depth, layering, texture and history inherent in the cold wax process enhance Patricia’s creative imagination.
