LARGE EVOCATIVE PAINTINGS OF THE HUMAN FORM CREATE TENSION BETWEEN VIEWER AND SUBJECT

I began my career at an early age — following in the footsteps of my father — as a professional illustrator in Toronto, painting full-page fashion illustrations for department stores Woodwards, The Bay and Simpsons Sears. My painting is informed by these early expressions of style, creating tension through the exploration of relationship and personal space. Exhibitions include the Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver, CityScape Community Art Space in North Vancouver and H'Arts for the Homeless, which included a live painting performance.

My work hangs in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, Spokane and Mexico.
