David was born and raised in Ontario. He attended Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and York University in Toronto, Ontario. As a young man he moved to Vancouver B.C. and sold much of his work through his Dunbar home studio. He is now living on the Sunshine Coast in Gibsons, B.C.

Works are in Acrylics, Raw Charcoal, Silver Point, Chalk and Pastel. He is a trained Print Maker and has a series of Dry Point Etchings.

David makes his frames and hand gilds in gold or copper depending on the subject.
